This little guy had the most intense gaze I’ve seen in a baby his age (about 8 weeks.) He made such good eye contact with the camera that I think he may have a modeling career in his future – just adorable!
Wow – I am really behind on blogging sessions – I was updating some stuff and I realized I never shared this gem of a session! Two adorable sisters that I met in June – they were such pros during the session it almost seemed TOO easy! A few of my faves:
Princess… nothing else can describe little Mia. Absolute princess. She behaved like one, looks like one and her mom and dad spoil her like one (as they should!) I feel like I have photographed royalty!
He made me work for it. And I mean WORK.FOR.IT. Sam came to his session at Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza rarin’ to go – fresh from a nap and full of energy.Non-stop action for over an hour – and I loved it! We ventured all over the grounds and left very few corners unexplored. In the end, the images captured what a little boy at two is all about – new adventures, no fear and lots and lots of laughter.
I have to admit I am a bit of a Facebook addict. I think I am getting it under control (I broke my addiction to FarmTown) but I do enjoy the social aspect of it (and seeing all the “OMG! More SNOW!” posts from my Iowa friends/family.Haha! I love AZ!)
If you are on Facebook, please become a fan of MJ Photography – I will happily post a few of your favorite images from your session and you can tag them to share with all of your FB Friends. I do ask that you leave any watermarks on the images intact – unfortunately there can be some strange things that happen to non-watermarked images, so this is something that will protect you and your family (and me as well!)
I just love this time of year as I look back at the blog and see all the fabulous bellies, new babies and families that I had the opportunity to photograph this past year. I adore what I do and feel so lucky that so many people decide that I am the photographer they want to hire to capture these precious moments in their lives.
So I leave you with this slideshow of all the portraits featured on the blog from 2009. I have a lot of exciting things planned for 2010 and can’t wait to share them with you!
Miss Brittan has a birthday this weekend, so I REALLY want to share this sneak peek now so all her family and friends can see what an adorable gal she is. Big thanks to her Mom and Dad for the privilege to photograph their little girl.
Another cutie to share with you – sweet Riley was so enjoyable to photograph. Such a sweetie!
Miss J has will be celebrating her First Communion and Confirmation tomorrow so I wanted to give her a huge “Congratulations” and well wishes – such a big milestone within the Catholic Church! I think she looks gorgeous in her dress and she’s got a very special Rosary that was bless by the Pope many many years ago. Here are a few of my favorite images from her session:
