Just a little silliness…

Awww heck - how ’bout some more silliness?

Just a little silliness…

Awww heck - how ’bout some more silliness?

Miss Addie was a DOLL to work with - just a sweet little gal who smiled and coo’d at all the right times.
Isn’t her little outfit adorable - loved the bloomers that had the crochet detail that matched the hat and bodice!

It’s hard to forget Miss E’s newborn pictures - she’s still a feature on the front page of the website and I have a print of her in studio that everyone just LOVES to look at. Her newborn images were featured in THIS post in early December and here she is now, 7 months later. She took my breath away when I saw her - I think you can understand why.
I love her contemplative look that really shows how big her eyes are - but I have to say that she is a VERY happy baby - I have lots of wonderful smiles and silly faces from her session, but I keep coming back to this one….

Today is a two-for-one special! First, we will travel WAAAAAY back to June 9, 2007 when I captured this little guy’s first portraits - he was just a few days old, one of my youngest newborns!

And then flash forward to today out in North Scottsdale… proof that 364 days makes a BIG DIFFERENCE!

I just LOVE his baby blues!

More walking - he was ALL over the place!

And, we can’t forget his big brother, so, as a special Saturday night bonus… a second trip in the MJ Photography way-back machine… circa November 2004:

And today…

This little guy was TOO CUTE! I had such fun with this session - he’s a little thumb sucker which makes me giggle - he kept plopping that thumb right back in his mouth! Here are some sneak peeks from our session for his Mom & Dad to see and all his long distance relatives!
Sooooo handsome!

By golly, it’s another “thumbs up” rating for me!

He’s got them wrapped around his little finger!

Jake is the newest member of the babyJACKS club and I can tell you that we are going to have a FUN set of sessions with him over the course of the next year. He was a real trooper for the sessions - showing off his big belly and how strong he is when he’s got tummy time. He even dozed off at the end of his session after getting a bite to eat!
This one melts my heart!

Belly Tickles= Happy Baby!

Shhhh…. he’s sleeping!

This guy is a kid after my own heart - he has two cats which are his FAVORITE things in the world! He told me that they don’t sleep with him because they are too fat to jump up in his top bunk but I still bet they love to cuddle with him when he’s relaxing on the couch!

It’s been nearly a year since I’ve seen this brotherly duo and MY how things have changed! Ian is still a fun loving older brother but Brayden is really working to make his mark on the world!
Ian is getting ready to celebrate his 4th birthday! He was very adamant to remind me, though, that he is STILL only 3! I love his serious look in this one..

But in less than 15 seconds he was all smiles and giggles…

Little brother wasn’t shy about ANYTHING. Thankfully he sat still for about 2 minutes and let me fire off a rapid series of shots..

I think there are some teeth coming in there somewhere as he REALLY liked chewing on his fingers… well, that and crawling/walking over to me to take a look at my camera. Oh, I need to mention - he took his FIRST STEPS in my studio! I feel honored that he saved them to show me!

Here they are together… I think one is a mirror image of Dad and the other a copy of Mom!

If I were to write a fairytale, it would no doubt feature sisters E&E as the beautiful princesses of the magical land. Their mom has already ensured that they have the wardrobe fit for a royal and they have the beauty to make it believable.
Funny story for this session - We did the session at the Pointe Hilton at Tapitio Cliffs - gorgeous setting! We arrive, set the bag and extra clothes down and let the girls start playing around a little. Soon after I start shooting, we hear the ominous sputtering sound of the sprinklers - which proceed to start showering us with a steady mist of water! Talk about timing! LOL

Aren’t these dressed beautiful! See what I mean by the princess wardrobe!

Children growing up have the uncanny ability to make you stop and realize how quickly time passes. It seems like just last month I was photographing Miss M when she was still in her momma’s tummy and now she is a busy one year old (and I don’t exaggerate when I say BUSY! She didn’t stop ONCE during her session!)

This outfit was her mom’s when she was a little girl - I love the color and pattern - very retro cool!

And, I can’t leave out big brother - such a handsome little man!
