Miss O visited me last week - Such a cutie! I bet you can’t figure out where she gets her beautiful, rich hair color from! 
She was VERY intent on staying awake for the session - determined not to miss a SINGLE moment… I tried to warn her early on that I could out-wait almost ANY baby on the sleeping factor, but she didn’t believe me.
Guess who won?

This little guy looked like such a peanut when he arrived in his car seat - mom told me he was over 8lbs at birth which is definitely NOT a little guy for a first baby! It’s amazing how newborns just ALWAYS look sweet and tiny, irregardless of their weight!
This first image is one that Dad was REALLY excited about - as he told, me, he’s waited YEARS for the opportunity to do this shot. He described it for me at their maternity session - it was a portrait he had viewed at a mall display for a photographer in Tennessee - I was definitetly game to try it and thankfully little D was up for the task as well. I think it worked out pretty darn cool!

Here is information for Fall 2008 Holiday Portraits (including the ever-important holiday deadlines!)
My Fall schedule for 2008 is starting to fill up - notably for weekend appointments. Weekday sessions are still available for September, October and November. Weekend sessions are available in October and November. If you know you need a weekend sessions, I would definitely suggest booking NOW to secure the date.
A few things to note about sessions this fall:
Weekday Sessions: I shoot primarily during the day (10am or 1pm) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Later afternoon sessions may be available, so please let me know if a 4pm or 6pm session would work better for you or your family’s schedule.
Weekend Sessions: There is a $35 additional fee due for weekend appointments. I have limited appointments available on weekends, so please inquire early if you know you need a weekend date.
Holiday Cards: There is a $300 minimum order commitment (in addition to the session fee) prior to placing a holiday card order. Standard holiday cards are $50 per box of 25.
2008 Holiday Deadlines:
Friday, November 14th - Last day for sessions with guaranteed holiday delivery
Friday, November 28th - Holiday orders due for guaranteed holiday delivery
Thursday, December 11th - RUSH holiday deadline for holiday delivery (Rush fee applies. Only available for gift prints, not applicable to framed wall portrait, collages or canvas prints.)
December 13-January 13th - Studio is closed to non-maternity/newborn clients.
My baby girl turned 2 while we were out of town on vacation - Poor girl - she really got the shaft in terms of a celebration. Her gift from us was a stuffed animal from a truck stop! Bad bad Mommy & Daddy! She did get a total of three birthday cakes over the course of a week, so she shouldn’t complain TOO bad.
These pics are from a month ago when we were in Iowa visiting my parents. I love shooting my kids on their property - they have such beautiful trees and lush grass! And the sunsets - OMG - simply amazing. I need to photograph them next time we visit.
Anyway - here is Miss Sarah-Bear:
