A sweet sweet little chunker - I almost didn’t want to give her back to Mom & Dad.

This little beauty came to visit me this week - SUCH a doll! A couple images to share from her gallery:

Thought I’d share a few of my little girl as she explored Grandma & Grandpa’s yard. I think she was a little overwhelmed by all the grass! The sandbox was BY FAR her favorite place to spend time. She got a nice start on her “must eat 1lb of dirt by the time I am 5 years old” goal and what she didn’t eat, she put down her diaper or in her hair.

Meet my little (second) cousin! He’s a rambunctious three year old - a big boy who rivals my own Kevin (who is 20 months older!) in stature! Guess it’s hard to be short when your dad is 6′5″! I was lucky to have a chance to photograph Sam and his family when I was visiting Des Moines! I hope his mom and Grandma (my cousin and aunt!) enjoy the images!

Playing peek-a-boo behind a tree!

This has to be *the* best climbing tree in the neighborhood! Right now he needs a boost from Daddy, but in a few more years he will be scrambling up the tree all by himself!

I am headed back to Iowa for my Dad’s 60th birthday so the studio will be closed from June 17th to the 24th. I will return all voicemails and emails after that time.
Thanks!
He took a little coaxing to drift off into sleepy-land, but it was SOOOO worth it!

It’s hard to forget Miss E’s newborn pictures - she’s still a feature on the front page of the website and I have a print of her in studio that everyone just LOVES to look at. Her newborn images were featured in THIS post in early December and here she is now, 7 months later. She took my breath away when I saw her - I think you can understand why.
I love her contemplative look that really shows how big her eyes are - but I have to say that she is a VERY happy baby - I have lots of wonderful smiles and silly faces from her session, but I keep coming back to this one….

Today is a two-for-one special! First, we will travel WAAAAAY back to June 9, 2007 when I captured this little guy’s first portraits - he was just a few days old, one of my youngest newborns!

And then flash forward to today out in North Scottsdale… proof that 364 days makes a BIG DIFFERENCE!

I just LOVE his baby blues!

More walking - he was ALL over the place!

And, we can’t forget his big brother, so, as a special Saturday night bonus… a second trip in the MJ Photography way-back machine… circa November 2004:

And today…

Mr. B has to be the HOTTEST baby yet - Instead of having to turn up the heat to keep him warm, the kiddo thought that it was TOO HOT in my studio! What craziness is this? Granted, his mamma is an Alaska native, so he might feel that 80 degrees in a room is a touch warm, especially when you are nestled into some warm blankets or snuggling with mom & dad for some beautiful portraits….
This one cracks me up - It’s like he’s thinking “Seriously, do I have to put up with this?”

Snoozer

Wonder where these two feet will take him in life??

This trio of boys came to visit last weekend - I love this image of them together - I am sure in 6 months to a year it will change into a big ball of crazy boys wrestling with each other.
